① Once per turn: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower monster from your hand
(You can't conduct your Battle Phase the turn you activate this effect).
② Once per turn: You can destroy a card in the Field Spell Card Zone, and if you do, gain 1000 LP,
then you can add 1 Field Spell from your Deck to your hand.

Rulings

"And if you do" effects are simultaneous. "Then" effects are sequential.
Simultaneous effects do not cause cards to miss their timing.
Sequential effects can cause cards to miss their timing.
● If "Geartown" is destroyed, and no Field Spell is searched, you CAN activate Geartown's effect.
● If "Geartown" is destroyed, and a Field Spell is searched, you CAN'T activate Geartown's effect.
